K’Lynne Saunders is a Navy Veteran and a recently retired Texas educator. Her goal today is to pursue a journey back to her artistic self by expressing her own personal, unique, and authentic perspectives in her paintings. Her passion for art began very early in her life. In 1968, her family moved to Paris, France because her father participated in the Vietnam Paris Peace Talks. While there, she colored an original drawing of the Seine River using regular color crayons on manilla construction paper. K’Lynne still has this drawing. She was 8 years old when she colored this picture. She is an enthusiastic learner and is always striving to evolve her art with an eclectic variety of associations gleaned from her years of travel.
